Trick or Freak
Trick or Freak was a ton of fun last night. I got to the State Theatre at 5pm, and went on the Buckcherry tour bus to talk to Stevie and Keith, the 2 guitar players of course. I’ll be using that footage for an upcoming edition of the Chop Shop.
They were a little freaked out by my costume, I guess word didn’t make it to the band that it was a Halloween bash, and they had never been so close to the Grim Reaper before.
I was back inside the Theatre by 5:30 to check in live on the air with Arthur P. Then it was off to the back-stage catering area for a nice little dinner.
The costumes were very enjoyable. There was a giant (10 feet tall) demon, some construction barrels, and lots of girls in skimpy outfits of all types; I saw a where-wolf, Batman and even Wonder Woman.
I went on stage to introduce Crossfade while in costume, and the band thought it was hilarious and said I should come out on stage with them at some point during the show, so I did my little death dance on stage with Crossfade during the 3rd song (that's the photo above) . All in all it was a very good night with the ‘RIF.
Tonight is the final Saturday before Halloween so I’ll have lot’s of extra scary music on "Amped on the 80s" from 7pm to Midnight, and don’t forget the Chop Shop’s 3rd annual Ozzy Halloween special is this Sunday at 9am on WRIF and WRIF.com
Black out.

Hello everyone, The Tigers are the big news in the "D." Nobody saw this coming this year and that make’s it all the more monumental. I’m cheering for the Cards to make it so we’ll have a rematch of the 1968 Wold Series.
I did make it out to the Robin Trower show back on October 4th. Robin still sounds amazing. He looks like he’s 112 years old but he still plays great!
I went to the Iron Maiden show last night. They sounded good as well but the song selection sucked! They played the entire new cd, plus "Fear of The Dark" "Iron Maiden" and "The Evil That Men Do". The encore was "2 Minutes to Midnight" and "Hallowed Be Thy Name" Not a single song from "Piece of Mind"? It was the worst of the 8 times I’ve seen them.
Go Tigers, and Wings and Lions.

Battle of the Album Covers
I'm not a big "You Tube" guy, primarly I just don't have time to go looking for crazy stuff. This link was sent to me and I though it was worth sharing. There is quite a bit of cartoon violence involved so be warned ahead of time.

Tigers
A quick tip of the hat to the Detroit Tigers. At the start of the season most of us and ALL of the experts had this team finishing near .500. They may have tanked the last 3 games of the season and blew the Central Division, but this team was a major player this season and we have not seen that in a long, long time. The Tigers have been pretty inconsistent the last 2 months, so I won’t even try to pick a winner in their series with the Yankees, but I am picking the Twins to win the World Series.
