R.I.P. my wife
WOW, where do I start?
As you have most likely heard by now, my amazing Sabrina has passed away. It is devastating to know that we won’t be able to make any new memories together, but so awesome to think back on all of our perfect 9 years together.
I did get your email. In all between my personal email, station email and myspace, I got more than 300 messages…..so I won’t be returning too many….but they have helped me out immensely! In fact, I’ll close this by sharing several messages.
The memorial on Saturday was just perfect. Gramer Funeral Home was filled with emotion, incredible photos and great friends. Thanks to Mary Ann and K.T. for doing so much work, and to Steph, and the Thorntons. Also Sabrina’s family and My family who made the trip in from Airazona to be with me. Thank you all.
The flowers pictured was sent in by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra….First Class all the way.

Live albums
The release of the new Kid Rock "Live Trucker" cd made me think back to some of my favorite "Live" albums from the last 30+ years. Here is an off the top off my head list. 1. Kiss Alive 2. NHL and Life
First,
You may have noticed I've been missing from the WRIF lineup for a few days. Sabrina (my Wife) took a turn for the worse, and I've had my hands full taking care of her.
Thanks to the WRIF staff and all the listeners for your support!
The NHL trade deadline has passed and the team that helped themselves the most was the Edmonton Oilers, who picked up a quality goaltender in Dwayne Roloson and then managed to snag Sergei Samsonov as well.
Other notes of interest:
Ottawa who have been one of the top teams all year added some depth by acquiring Tyler Arnason.
NY Rangers added Sandis Ozolinsh
Hurricanes picked up Mark Recchi
Detroit traded Jamie Rivers to Phoenix for a 7th round pick
And Colorado and Montreal swapped goalies With Theodore and Aebischer trading sweaters.

Kid Rock’s "Live Trucker" was released on Tuesday, and the band was home for a 2 day break in the touring schedule, so I made my way over to "Twisted Brown Trucker" guitarist Jason Krause, who invited me into his home for a Chop Shop interview.
Needless to say Kid Rock, Jason and the band are very proud of the new live cd, as they well should be.
Most live albums are somewhere between bad and rotten, but every now and then you get a great one like, Ted Nugent’s "Double Live Gonzo", Kiss "Alive" and Bob Seger’s "Live Bullet" which the "Live Trucker" cover was patterned after.
This cd is terrific, and could end up being a landmark in Kid Rock’s career, and the enormous publicity of the sex tape can’t hurt cd sales.
