Reign Over Me

First off, I’m sorry to hear that some of you were turned away at the "Reign Over Me" movie premiere. For those who made it in it was a terrific night. The movie is funny, moving and very powerful. It caught me off guard in part because I had no idea what the move was about, so I’ll not give you any details other that it’s brilliantly written and Adam Sandler gives the performance of his life.

I did get the chance to hang out with Adam Sandler, Mike Binder and Bob Seger after the show. It was cool to see them all just laugh and talk up close. I told Adam I got to see him singing on stage with White Zombie in L.A. back in the 90s, that was the source of some fun stories.

I give high marks to "Reign Over Me" if you’re up for an excellent film.

Sabrina Back Foundation Concert

The first official Sabrina Black Foundation event is scheduled and ready to go. Please join us on April 10 at the Emerald Theatre in Mt. Clemens as Kenny Wayne Shepherd is headlining our SBF concert/auction fundraiser.

Some of the auction items available include a Zakk Wylde autographed guitar; Ted Nugent autographed guitar and backstage passes. A once in a lifetime "media pass" to join Matt Dery of WDFN and sit with the press during a Detroit Pistons game, this includes a pre-game meal in the press room and visiting the Pistons locker room, for the post game interviews. A trip for 2 to Las Vegas from MLT vacations. Be a Movie Critic for a day with Tom Long of the Detroit News. Exclusive original artwork from John Rios, autographed by Alice Cooper, Zakk Wylde and Ted Nugent. Clothing worn on stage by Steve Vai, and much, much more.
The Sabrina Black Foundation raises money and then selects cancer patients through the billing offices of local cancer hospitals. The hospitals select candidates, and then contact the patients to let them know that we heard their prayers. We pay off their entire hospital bill. We completely eliminate that debt so they can keep their focus on fighting their disease, instead of financial difficulties.
The Sabrina Black Foundation, "Changing One Life at A Time".
