Trick or Freak

Trick or Freak was a ton of fun last night. I got to the State Theatre at 5pm, and went on the Buckcherry tour bus to talk to Stevie and Keith, the 2 guitar players of course. I’ll be using that footage for an upcoming edition of the Chop Shop.

They were a little freaked out by my costume, I guess word didn’t make it to the band that it was a Halloween bash, and they had never been so close to the Grim Reaper before.

I was back inside the Theatre by 5:30 to check in live on the air with Arthur P. Then it was off to the back-stage catering area for a nice little dinner.

The costumes were very enjoyable. There was a giant (10 feet tall) demon, some construction barrels, and lots of girls in skimpy outfits of all types; I saw a where-wolf, Batman and even Wonder Woman.

I went on stage to introduce Crossfade while in costume, and the band thought it was hilarious and said I should come out on stage with them at some point during the show, so I did my little death dance on stage with Crossfade during the 3rd song (that's the photo above) . All in all it was a very good night with the ‘RIF.

Tonight is the final Saturday before Halloween so I’ll have lot’s of extra scary music on "Amped on the 80s" from 7pm to Midnight, and don’t forget the Chop Shop’s 3rd annual Ozzy Halloween special is this Sunday at 9am on WRIF and WRIF.com

Black out.
