Happy Saturday everyone. Today is April, 15th (Tax Day) and it would have been Sabrina’s birthday. I’ve decided to believe that the perfect weather is a birthday gift from her to all of us!

Last night I made it over to the Magic bag to see Jeff Berlin, Stu Hamm and Billy Sheehan at the Magic Bag. For the non-musicians checking in, they are 3 of the world’s all-time greatest Bass players.

I got to the "Bag" at 7:15 and watched sound check then recorded a Chop Shop with Billy and Stu. Yes, I’m finally going to have some Bass players in the Chop Shop, in-fact I’m going to use it for my 2-year anniversary show on the week of May 8th

Wow, the Chop Shop is almost 2 years old, and we’re on 25 radio stations as of today with a few more seriously looking at adding the show. Perhaps we can have 30 stations by mid-May.

After the interview, I called my long time friend, and local Detroit guitar hero, Paul Kramer and we went over to Howe’s Bayou with Stu Hamm for a Good Friday dinner (excellent catfish) and then over to watch the show, which was brilliant.

Tonight is the Rif Rock Girl party at the Royal Oak Music Theatre. I’m sure Drew & Mike will be checking in on the radio during my "Amped on the 80s" show. Tune in OR get to the party in person……and have a great Easter.
