Got Ammo?

I met the brother of a Navy officer who is serving in Iraq a few weeks back at the Red Hot Chili Peppers show. He told me his brother made Amps out of military ammo boxes.
Well, that’s one of the coolest ideas I’ve heard in years, so I tracked down Christopher Brownfield at www.http://ammo-box-amps.com/ and a few days later Christopher called me from Saddam’s former palace, where he is stationed in Iraq.

As you can see by the photo, he sent an amp over for me to test drive. This really is cool, I’m gonna have to tell my friends, Ted Nugent and Zakk Wylde about this!

I’ll be interviewing Christopher about his unique idea, and his life in general for the End of the Year Chop special. More details coming soon.

Black.
